    Before beginning to connect the water inlet pipe, make sure you have the tap which will supply the dishwasher turned off. If the appliance is going to be installed in a location not in your main house (a garage, for example) make sure that the water supply pipework and the inlet hose is protected from possible frost damage.

    Check the user manual for any specific recommendations for your appliance.
  • 1. Locate the water inlet hose at the back of the machine.
    Your dishwasher should be delivered with the appliance-end of this hose already attached.
  • 2. Connect the other end of the hose to the cold mains water supply, indicated by a blue tap and tighten the nut by turning clockwise.
    Note: Make sure that the rubber sealing washer is in place inside the hose nut and only tighten the hose nut by hand, never use tools when tightening the nut as you can damage it.
  • 3. Once the hose is connected and tightened, open the water inlet tap by turning it 90 degrees and check for any water leaks (the ‘on’ position is normally when the tap handle is pointing at or in-line with the water supply hose).
    You should be able to hear the water run to the dishwasher.
    Note: Check the inlet hose at least once a year. If there are any cracks, it should be replaced immediately.
