Bleach or fading marks are being left on my washing

Bleach can easily mark or damage your clothes. Here is a general piece of advice, but always check the user manual for specific recommendations on your appliance.
- 1. Household bleach (or bleach-based cleaning products) can fade and stain garments and towels and lead to the fabric breaking up, so care needs to be taken that bleach is not splashed in the bathroom, kitchen or toilet. Also many cosmetic and skin treatments contain bleach for example hair dye and acne cream contain peroxide which will have the same effect on fabrics. Rinse the skin or hair before drying with the towel to ensure all the peroxide is washed away.
- If the above actions haven’t rectified your issue or you don’t feel confident to undertake them please go to our on-line repair booking page to arrange an engineer visit — https://www.domesticandgeneral.com/repairs.
If you have misplaced or lost your user manual, you can download a replacement manual (please have your model number to hand).
