Waterproof system activated — Mieleʼs waterproof system has been activated
Issue: The waterproof system has been activated

- Turn off the water supply
- Disconnect the appliance from the mains
- Remove the laundry from the drum — you will have to use the emergency release
Open the drain pump flap (Fig. 1)
Use a screwdriver to unlock the drum door (Fig 2)
CAUTION: DO NOT REACH INTO THE DRUM IF IT IS STILL MOVING! Wait for the drum to finish rotating before reaching in to remove the laundry
