My appliance is warm or hot on the outside

The outside of the appliance may feel warm to the touch in normal operation. Always check details in the user manual if you are concerned about anything to do with the way the appliance is working.
1. This is normal — raised temperatures are necessary to avoid condensation forming on and in certain parts of the appliance.
2. Some modern appliances have part of the cooling mechanism wrapped around the sides of the appliance under the skin of the body to allow heat to dissipate better.
