Clearance gap
- Please make sure you follow these instructions fully. If you have any problems with carrying out this maintenance, please contact us.
Your dishwasher will need to be installed so that it is not touching any surrounding cabinets, cupboards or worktops.
Always check the instructions in the user manual for details of this for your specific dishwasher, but the steps below will give you some general guidance. - 1. Ensure the dishwasher is positioned on a flat even surface. Use the adjustable feet if necessary. For further information, see the “Adjusting the feet” topic.
- 2. Ensure that the dishwasher is positioned so that the top, sides and back panel have a suitable gap between the wall, units, worktops or cabinets next to it. A 25mm to 50mm (1 inch to 2 inch) gap is usually enough.Note: some dishwashers may have an ‘anti-condensation strip’ which is to be fixed to the underneath of worktops, check the user manual for details of this.
- If you have misplaced or lost your user manual, you can download a replacement manual (please have your model number to hand).
