Rust marks can be difficult to remove from your washing. Here is a general piece of advice, but always check the user manual for specific recommendations on your appliance. - 1. The most likely reason for rusty brown marks being left on washing is due to water contamination.
Sources for the contamination could be because of work carried out by a plumber or water-supply company on your house, or in the local area.
If you are aware of this type of work being carried out, it is best to run the water through the taps in your home for a while before using the washing machine. The tub of the machine is usually plastic and the drum is coated in stainless steel so it is unlikely that your machine is rusting inside.
Rust stains can sometimes be removed by covering the affected area in salt and then rubbing with lemon juice. Rinse thoroughly before continuing with any washing. - If the above actions haven’t rectified your issue or you don’t feel confident to undertake them please go to our on-line repair booking page to arrange an engineer visit — https://www.domesticandgeneral.com/repairs.
