    Most refrigeration and freezing appliances need to be allowed to ‘settle’ before they are switched on. This allows the internal gases and the cooling elements of the appliance to operate correctly. Not allowing for this ‘setting’ period may damage the appliance.
  • 1. Your appliance uses liquid within the cooling system and this needs to settle for up to three hours before you run it for the first time.

    Refer to the user manual for how long you need to leave your specific appliance before switching it on.
