Correct positioning

Following the positioning guide as closely as possible will make sure the appliance will work at its best, but always check the details for your specific appliance in the user manual.
- 1.
Place the appliance in a well-ventilated humidity-free room with an ambient temperature above 10°C.
- 2.
Ensure that you do not obstruct the rear fan grills, the appliance needs a constant airflow around the rear so allow 5cm between the wall and the grills.
If you cannot see the rear fan grills or condenser coils you may have a fire retardant panel secured to the rear of the appliance. - 3.
The compressor and condenser require good ventilation to operate correctly and save energy, if you do not allow enough space the appliance will not function efficiently.

Ensure you leave at least a 10cm space between the top of the appliance and any other surfaces.

There should be at least a 5cm space between the sides of the appliance and any other surfaces.
- 6. Keep the appliance out of direct sunlight and away from any other sources of heat or the appliance will have to operate harder and will be less efficient.
