Correct storage of food in the fridge helps to ensure food is safely stored and efficient operation of the appliance. Check the user manual for any specific recommendations regarding your appliance. - 1. Top and middle shelf
Store dairy products, packaged foods, cooked meats, prepared salads, ready meals and leftovers here. They should be stored in sealed containers or kept covered to prevent contamination. - 2. Bottom shelf
Store raw meat, fish and poultry at the bottom of the fridge to ensure they donʼt leak onto other foods. They should be stored in sealed containers or wrapped to prevent any bacterial contamination. - 3. Salad drawer
Store vegetables, salad vegetables and fruit that has been pre-washed, wrapped in plastic or paper with ventilation holes to protect them contamination. Salads and herbs should be wrapped in damp paper towels to keep them fresh. - 4. Try to have food stored evenly throughout the fridge and freezer compartments.
