Always make sure that your cooker or hob has completely cooled down before starting any maintenance or cleaning.
Check for specific details on your appliance in the user manual, but the steps below will give you general guidance.
There are a few different techniques and cleaning substances that can be used to effectively and safely clean the inside of your oven and hob surfaces. Never use steam cleaners or pressure cleaners on the appliance. Only use approved oven and hob cleaning products to clean your appliance.
1. Cleaning the outside of your appliance — Wipe down the exterior surfaces of your appliance using a soft cloth and warm soapy water. For tougher marks and burnt on foods, there are many different cleaning products and solutions approved and safe for cleaning your appliance surfaces.
A good tip for removing fingerprint marks from stainless steel is to clean using a little baby oil on a soft cloth.
Warning: Do not use scouring pads or abrasive cleaners as they may scratch the surface. When using any cleaning products ensure you are wearing the correct protective clothing (such as protective gloves) to avoid injury.
2. External Glass Surfaces — doors and control panels can be kept clean by wiping down regularly with warm water and a cloth. Dry the glass surfaces afterwards with a dry cloth or kitchen towel.
Do not: Use scouring pads or abrasive cleaning powder. These may scratch the glass and could lead to the glass cracking.

3. Stainless Steel Door and Control Panels — Doors and control panels can be kept clean by wiping down regularly with warm water and a cloth. Dry the stainless steel surfaces afterwards with a dry cloth or kitchen towel.

4. The Oven Interior — Remove all oven fittings and shelves (and if applicable the “Stay Clean” liners) and clean using a damp cloth. There are many different cleaning products and solutions approved and safe for cleaning the interiors of ovens. Follow instructions on the cleaning products and check the user manual for more information.
Warning: Do not allow abrasive cleaners or any oven sprays to come in to contact with “Stay Clean” liners.
5. The Interior Fittings — Remove all oven fittings and shelves to clean (and if applicable the “Stay Clean” liners). Most interior oven fittings are dishwasher safe or can be cleaned with hot water and a fine steel wool soap pad.
There are many different cleaning products and solutions approved and safe for cleaning the interiors of ovens and fittings. Follow instructions on the cleaning products and check the user manual for more information.

6. Internal Grill Pans & Dishes — Grill and meat pans can be removed and cleaned using warm soapy water. Grill pans and meat dishes should be cleaned after every use.
7. Gas Hobs
Light soiling — If the food and dirt is not burnt onto the surface you should be able to use a wet cloth to wipe clean.
Heavy Soiled — If the food has been burnt onto the surface apply warm soapy water with a soft cloth. If this fails to clean the surface effectively there are many different cleaning products and solutions approved and safe for cleaning gas cooker hobs. Follow instructions on the cleaning product and check the user manual for more information.

8. Electric Hobs
Light soiling — If the food and dirt is not burnt onto the surface you should be able to use a wet cloth to wipe clean.
Heavy Soiled — If the food has been burnt onto the surface apply warm soapy water with a soft cloth. If this fails to clean the surface effectively there are many different cleaning products and solutions approved and safe for cleaning electric hobs. Follow instructions on the cleaning product and check the user manual for more information.
