White or cloudy marks are being left on my dishes and glasses
- Please make sure you follow these instructions fully. If you have any problems with carrying out this maintenance, please contact us.
If your washed items (particularly crockery and glasses) are covered in a white film or deposits of limescale after being cleaned, the steps below will show some areas to check, but check the user manual for specific details on your dishwasher. The white film can often be wiped off with a little vinegar on a soft cloth.
Always check the instructions in the user manual for details of this for your specific dishwasher, but the steps below will give you some general guidance. - 1. Check that your dishwasher salt is kept topped-up and that any adjustment is correctly set. If you are using ‘all in one’ tablets your dishwasher will still deliver best results by having the salt filled and set as recommended in the user manual. Make sure that the cap on the salt compartment is properly closed and that you use proper dishwasher salt (ordinary ‘table salt’ will not be suitable).
- 2. Make sure that the rinse aid in your dishwasher has not run out and that the rinse-aid setting is as recommended in the user manual. Even if you are using ‘all in one’ tablets your dishwasher will often still deliver best results by using rinse aid.

If you have misplaced or lost your user manual, you can download a replacement manual (please have your model number to hand).
