Following the positioning guide as closely as possible will make sure the appliance will work at its best, but always check the details for your specific appliance in the user manual.
- 1.
Place the appliance in a well-ventilated humidity-free room with an ambient temperature above 10°C.
Different product types operate at different ambient temperatures, 10°C applies to static combis & larders, Frost free combis and freezers can operate at low Ambients down to -15°C. Some of the other full frost free models are -5°C. - 2.
Ensure that you do not obstruct the rear fan grills, the appliance needs a constant airflow around the rear so allow 5cm between the wall and the grills. Please use the spacers provided to ensure the distance from the rear wall.
- 3.
The compressor and condenser require good ventilation to operate correctly and save energy, if you do not allow enough space the appliance will not function efficiently.
- 4.
Ensure you leave at least a 10cm space between the top of the appliance and any other surfaces.
- 5.
There should be at least a 5cm space between the sides of the appliance and any other surfaces.
- 6. Keep the appliance out of direct sunlight and away from any other sources of heat or the appliance will have to operate harder and will be less efficient.
- If you have misplaced or lost your user manual, you can download a replacement manual (please have your model number to hand).
